If Ann Arbor, a city known more for clouds than sunshine, can become a Solar America City, then any city in the United States can. By becoming a Solar America City, Ann Arbor demonstrates that solar energy can provide a positive contribution to its community through job creation and by supplying clean, renewable energy to its citizens. Ann Arbor’s goals for this partnership are:
  • Engage with community partners and resources to remove market barriers to solar energy
  • Work to increase consumer awareness and demand for solar energy
  • Help solar energy manufacturers and contractors to succeed.
